WWW Wednesday

This is WWW Wednesday, as seen on Taking on a World of Words. It’s a fun way to share what I and other people have been reading. I try to do it once every few books (to avoid repeats) just as a fun update

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

N or M? is the third book in Agatha Christie’s Tommy and Tuppence series, which so far have been my favourite characters from her, despite how much I love Poirot

And The Murders in the Rue Morgue: The Dupin Stories are widely regarded as the first detective stories written that inspired characters like Sherlock Holmes. So far, I’ve read one of the three short stories in the book and looking forward to reading more

Recently Finished Reading

I told one of my pen pals that I have The Poisoner’s Handbook and in her last letter, she asked me how it is, as she is considering to make it the book of the month of her book club. So I quickly read it before replying and it was absolutely amazing.

Atomic Habits was another self-help book that received all the hype. It was okay. It had some decent practical methods to apply but repeats itself a lot, and manipulates examples to support the narrative

Reading Next

I remember seeing The Bone Collector, the movie when I was a kid, but I barely remember how it went or ended. I just remember glimpses of it. And since it was such a successful book, I want to go for it

I read Quiet a long time ago but didn’t enjoy it too much, despite being an introvert.  But I read it at a time I wasn’t into reading much, so I probably wasn’t fair to it. Recently, I saw a blog post from Kristin that has put this back on my list.

    1. It’s a much shorter series. Only five books I think. And the second book is a bunch of short stories. It’s a pair of detectives by Christie. For some reason, I just really like them. Maybe because they’re more relatable, don’t act too superior or clever, and genuinely enjoy detective work and like having fun with it
